Canterbury Caledonian were crowned Grade One Champions at the 2024 New Zealand Pipe Band Championships, held in Auckland on the 15th and 16th of March. Canterbury Caledonian took the MSR prize, and Manawatu Scottish won the Medley prize. Canterbury Caledonian were also crowned Grade One drumming champions.
Manawatu were runners up, tying with Canterbury for points overall. Under RNZPBA rules, the winner of the MSR determines the overall champion.

- Grade Three: City of Melbourne Highland Pipe Band (Melbourne, Australia)
- Grade Four A: Hamilton Caledonian Society’s Pipe Band
- Grade Four B: South Canterbury Highland Pipe Band
- Juvenile: St Andrew’s College A Pipe Band
