Following one final day of training at the European Championships held at Perth Scotland on 9 August 2025, Brian Switalla has been signed off as an RSPBA-qualified ensemble adjudicator.
Brian went on to adjudicate the Saturday Grade One medley final at the World Pipe Band Championships.
Brian explained that the collaborative and supportive approach of the RSPBA Training Group has been a key factor in his success. “The willingness of all involved to share and pass on their knowledge so freely was inspirational. A terrific bunch of talented musicians with a huge passion for the music we all enjoy so very much,” Brian said.
A real plus Brian said is the relationships in place that allows him to coordinate training for our domestic panel by those at the top of their game from around the World.
While in Scotland, Brian has arranged for the next Adjudicators Workshop which will be held online in early November.
